About the Workshop

Paathashaala by Charsur Arts Foundation presents an exclusive 2-day in-person workshop with Vidwan Abhishek Raghuram, designed for serious students and aspirants of Carnatic music.

The program offers an intensive and holistic approach to learning that goes beyond conventional classroom instruction, with focus on:

• Practising Varisais / Exercises

• Tools for Manodharma development

• Using compositions to understand rāga structure

• In-depth exploration of Gamakas

• Rhythmic perspectives of compositions

• Rhythmic exercises to enhance Manodharma

Set in the serene and inspiring ambience of Mittham, this Paathashaala offers participants an immersive gurukula-style experience.

• Healthy vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner)

• Accommodation only for outstation participants (first come, first serve – limited to 35 participants)

• Session recordings (audio) for all attendees
